Biosciences Education-Industry Partnership Council
This program was established in June 2006 to:
-Identify gaps in the workforce and in education programs.
-Develop partnerships to meet current and future workforce needs.
-Raise public awareness about the importance of bioscience education and workforce development.
The project manager is Gail O’Kane, Education-Industry Partnership Manager, Biosciences and Nanosciences Office of the Chancellor, Strategic Partnerships Unit Minnesota State Colleges and Universities.
Modeling Center
The Modeling Center is a joint effort of Biobusiness Alliance and the University of Minnesota Hubert H. Humphrey School of Public Policy to build a capability for System Dynamics (SD) modeling in Minnesota. The goal is to create a structure for teaching SD at the undergraduate, graduate and professional education levels. The SD modeling will also be used for consulting with private industry and government.
Minnesota Life Science Community
The Minnesota Life Science Community is an overview of the major components that are critical to creating and maintaining a successful bioscience (science and technology OR knowledge-based) economy.
