Charter and Strategic Objectives

Charter Responsibilities:

1. Continuously measure, understand, and enrich Minnesota’s global competitive position in the bioscience sector.
2. Build an action-based alliance of industry, academia, and government to ensure the long-term vitality of Minnesota’s biobusiness industries.
3. Develop a clear roadmap for global competitiveness and strategies for implementation.

Strategic Objectives:
There are three major strategic work areas to fulfill the charter responsibilities:

  • Assessment: provide a national and global comparative picture of Minnesota’s competitiveness in biobusiness on an ongoing basis.
  • Destination 2025: develop a strategic vision and roadmap for the state’s biobusiness industries.
  • BioBusiness Resource Network: create a virtual network to support emerging and established biobusiness enterprises.
